Grace Larson

Grace is a paediatric intensive care nurse with over a decade experience in paediatric nursing education. She now teaches to improve the  care of children from the prehospital setting all the way from the family home with parents and carers into the hospital with nurses and medical professionals.

She also brings experience with quality and safety and consults for the Australian Midwifery and Nursing Federation on nurse safety issues. She has a special interest in children’s procedural pain and sedation, and she completed her masters in that field.

She is the Lead Nurse Educator for Medcast Education, and is the Co-founder of The Sisterhood Project a NFP that gets first aid education into hard to reach places. Grace is trailblazing the Paediatric education field in community medicine and critical care environments.

Sarah Duncanson

Sarah has extensive experience in education, training, and Paediatric Advanced Life Support. She has been involved in Clinical education at RCH, Melbourne and with the Australian College of Critical Care Nursing, and has held roles as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, PICU outreach nurse and Paediatric retrieval nurse. Her special interests lie in Children with Congenital heart conditions, family centred care and Resuscitation. Sarah is the Vice chair of the VIC branch Australian Resuscitation Council, working to improve Paediatric representation in the hospital and community setting.
